MORSIE’S Park Practice Double Taper Fly Line in #5, #6, and #7 weights

Why do casting instructors use bright orange lines – so they can clearly watch their loops form and unroll. This is a critical part of becoming a better caster – the evidence of your casting stroke is revealed in the unrolling loop. This is a great aid for correcting faults.

These bright orange double taper practice fly lines are manufactured for me by Rio. They’re durable, high vis, practical, easy casting and are available in weights #5, #6 and #7 weights.

Put them on a cheap old reel or a spare spool for practising in the park and save your more expensive lines for fishing. Double taper lines are superior for learning how to roll cast and of course they are reversible; when you’ve worn one end out from practicing so much you can reverse them.
