Weekly Fishing Report - 21st October 2021

117cm of Hervey Bay golden trevally caught with Tri from Fraser Guided Fishing.

Our usual scribe will be back on deck next week, so here's another collection of brag pics from some of our regular customers and local charter operators. Enjoy!

Fraser Guided Fishing

Another nice goldy caught on a recent charter with Tri, this one took a liking to a soft plastic. How cool are the golden highlights on tail and fins!

Mac tuna (above & below) are a bit of a Spring special for sportfisho's, small metal slugs are usually the order of the day.

Hervey Bay Fly & Sportfishing

Hervey Bay Fly & Sportfishing have been getting onto some quality reefies lately like this slob of a coral trout.

More trout spam (above & below), a few nice feeds there!

There's been some solid scarlets caught recently too on both baits and lures.

A decent chunk of cobia proving to be a bit of a handful.

.
Some more pelagic action, a nice golden trevally (above) and mac tuna below.

Customer brag board

Here's Rob with an absolute cracker of a barra from Lenthalls Dam, it measured 95cm. Well done mate!

Margaret Robinson (above & below) from the Hervey Bay Amateur Fishing Club has been having an absolute blast up at Lake Monduran. They've been trolling Molix Shad 140s in 4m of water and have landed fish up to 106cm. Great work team!

Steve (above & below) has been scoring some solid barra at Lake Monduran as well. It's pretty exciting how well the dam has been fishing, with most crews scoring fish.

After a quick legs session at the gym, young Timmy took his mate Joseph out on his jetski and showed him how to catch a few mac tuna. There's been plenty throughout the Straits, if you can get them past the sharks.

Ben Sutton with a nice Ruby & Flametail from a recent deep drop trip.

Chris had a ripper trip, scoring some big scarlets and trout.
